AERODYNE COWL
We supply and fit the "Aerodyne" cowl as standard, should a cowl be necessary. It's unique four point aerodynamic design ensures that no matter what direction the wind blows from, one side always develops a low pressure area, thus ensuring consistent venting of flue gases. It cures downdraught problems and also keeps rain out of the chimney.
If capping a disused chimney it should always be swept beforehand. This removes corrosive soot, tar and creosote that can damage the chimney masonry.
If you're opening up an old, capped chimney we can remove the pot capper for you. You should always have the chimney swept after opening a disused chimney prior to using it in case there is a blockage in the flue.

Vented Pot Caps
We supply and fit the standard vented pot capper for disused chimneys. These are required to keep rain out but allow air into the chimney to keep it dry, this prevents corrosion of the chimney maisonry over tine.
